Who are we?
Established by Phil Smith in February 2004, our journey began in Charlestown, where we started providing tailored financial advice to our valued clients. As our clientele grew and our team expanded, it became evident that we needed a larger space to accommodate our operations. In 2012, after eight successful years in Charlestown, we relocated to a spacious office in Lake Macquarie, situated in the vibrant Belmont area.
Driven by our commitment to excellence and continuous growth, we found ourselves outgrowing our Belmont location. Phil took the bold step to rent out the Belmont space and invest in a prime property in the heart of Newcastle. In 2020, we embarked on a renovation project to transform our Hunter Street office into a modern, multi-level workspace. This involved converting two 2-bedroom apartments into a fully commercial office space to accommodate our expanding team.
However, just as we settled into our new office, the unforeseen challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, forcing us to adapt to remote work arrangements in compliance with state regulations. Despite the disruption, our dedication to serving our clients remained unwavering. We are grateful for the support of our loyal clients and the dedication of our team members who ensured that our service standards remained uncompromised during this challenging period.
As restrictions eased and renovations reached completion, we transitioned half of our team to the newly renovated upstairs space, facilitating our continued growth and expansion. Today, when you visit our office, you'll find Phil and our Advisors downstairs, alongside our General Manager Natalie and receptionist, while our Business, Advice and Client Support teams operate seamlessly upstairs.
