Hunter Financial has been busy over the past few months since beginning work with We Care Connect. Each month we have a volunteer day where our team has the option to go out to the warehouse and join the volunteers for the day. A day would generally include some of the team sorting through clothes, organising them into sizes and folding them neatly. The rest of the team may be cleaning toys and books or helping pack up school supplies.
Over Christmas we donated a monetary donation, over 400 toys and time for our team to volunteer at their local warehouse packing Christmas toys and hampers.
Earlier this year we collectively provided over 150 backpacks full of school supplies for their Back 2 School program so that children around the Newcastle, Hunter & Central Coast region had everything they need for the school year ahead!
