In October, during Poverty Week (14th – 19th October), We Care Connect launched their first ever ‘I Care, You Care, We Care’ and Hunter Financial matched every donation made, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000. The goal for We Care Connect was to raise $25,000 with Hunter Financial matching with a further $25,000 and providing a total of $50,000 to these children in need. All together we raised a total of $52,423.
Christmas 2023, we donated a monetary donation, over 400 toys and time for our team to volunteer at their local warehouse packing Christmas toys and hampers. This year, our team spent their time at the local shopping centre gathering items to donate over 1000 toys for children living below the poverty line.
Each Year, we collectively provide over 150 backpacks full of school supplies for their Back 2 School program so that children around the Newcastle, Hunter & Central Coast region had everything they need for the school year ahead.
