How to prepare for your meeting
What to bring to your first meeting:
Required Documents
1. Identification
• Driver’s licence or another form of photo ID (e.g. passport)
2. Proof of Income
• Two most recent pay slips
• Two most recent individual tax returns
• Tax File Number
3. Superannuation, Pension and Defined Benefit Accounts
• Recent statements and/or each account number
• These can be sourced via your MyGov login (a screenshot including these details is acceptable)
4. Investment Accounts
• Recent statements for any investment accounts
5. Insurance Policies
• Recent statements for insurance policies
6. Financial Details
• Details of all bank accounts, including balances
• Details of any loans and credit cards
• Details of investment properties and/or shareholdings, including account numbers if applicable
7. Estate Planning
• Copies of any existing estate planning documents (Will, Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardian)
8. Self-Employed Documents
• Two most recent company financial statements
9. Centrelink Income
• Most recent Centrelink letter or statement
• Centrelink Reference Number (CRN)
10. Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) Details
• Trust deed including any variation deeds
• Most recent investment strategy
• SMSF loan agreement (if relevant)
• Details of any personal guarantees
• Two most recent SMSF financial statements
• Two most recent SMSF tax returns
11. Marriage Certificate
• If married within the last 5 years
